These Air Fryer Creole Beef Kabobs are a quick and flavorful dish featuring tender marinated beef sirloin and a colorful mix of vegetables. Marinated in Tony Chachere's 30-minute Steakhouse marinade, the kabobs are air fried to perfection in just 10 minutes, making for a delicious and easy-to-make meal that bursts with Creole spices and smoky grilled flavor.

  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Marinade and Meat

  • 1 bottle Tony Chachere's 30-minute Steakhouse marinade
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

Vegetables

  • 1 large red onion, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 ounces small button mushrooms
  • 1 zucchini, cut into 1/2-inch rounds
  • Wooden skewers (soaked in water for at least 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Soak Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning during cooking.
  2. Marinate Meat and Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the beef cubes and chopped vegetables. Pour the Tony Chachere's 30-minute Steakhouse marinade over them and toss to ensure everything is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Assemble Kabobs: Thread the marinated beef and vegetables onto the soaked skewers, layering steak pieces and vegetables alternately. Add two pieces of chopped onion together for extra flavor. Discard any remaining marinade.
  4. Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C) to ensure a hot cooking environment that will sear the meat and vegetables nicely.
  5. Cook Kabobs: Place the assembled kabobs into the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking on all sides until the beef reaches your desired doneness and vegetables are tender.
  6. Serve: Remove the kabobs from the air fryer and serve immediately for a hot, juicy, and flavorful meal.

Notes

  • If wooden skewers are not available, metal skewers can be used and do not require soaking.
  • Marinating the beef and vegetables longer than 30 minutes can enhance the flavors further.
  • Ensure even cutting of vegetables and beef cubes for consistent cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer for beef to reach the desired internal temperature (145°F for medium rare, 160°F for medium).
  • Adjust air fryer cooking time based on the size of beef cubes and the air fryer model.
  • Serve with rice, salad, or your favorite side dishes to complete the meal.
