A refreshing and fruity Iced Guava White Tea Lemonade inspired by Starbucks, combining subtly sweet white tea with tropical guava juice and fresh lemon juice, perfect for a revitalizing cold beverage on a warm day.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings

Ingredients

Beverage Base

  • ½ cup hot water
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional, plus additional to taste)
  • 1 bag white tea

Mix-ins

  • ½ cup ice cubes plus additional for serving
  • 1 cup guava juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed, about ¼-½ lemon, plus additional to taste)

Instructions

  1. Dissolve honey and steep tea: In a large measuring cup, dissolve the honey (if using) in ½ cup of boiling water. Add the white tea bag and allow it to steep for 10 minutes to extract the delicate flavors.
  2. Chill with ice while steeping: After 10 minutes, add ½ cup of ice cubes to the tea and continue to steep for another 10 minutes. This cools the tea gradually and intensifies the flavor.
  3. Add fruit juices and serve: Stir in the guava juice and freshly squeezed lemon juice into the cooled tea mixture. Fill a large glass or two smaller glasses generously with ice cubes and pour the iced tea lemonade over the top. Adjust sweetness and lemon to taste if desired.

Notes

  • Honey is optional and can be adjusted based on preferred sweetness or substituted with another sweetener.
  • Use freshly squeezed lemon juice for the best flavor impact.
  • Steeping time can be adjusted slightly depending on tea strength preference.
  • This drink is best served immediately but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
  • For a stronger tea flavor, increase steeping time or use double tea bags.
