This Strawberry Cold Foam recipe is a creamy, fruity topping perfect for enhancing your coffee or matcha lattes. Made with fresh strawberries, heavy whipping cream, and vanilla, it adds a rich and flavorful twist to your favorite cold beverages. The homemade strawberry syrup intensifies the fruity essence, creating a delightful and visually appealing foam.

  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: Enough strawberry cold foam for 2-3 beverages

Ingredients

Strawberry Cold Foam

  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2–3 tbsp strawberry syrup
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Strawberry Syrup

  • 8 oz strawberries, washed, hulled and chopped
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Make the Strawberry Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the chopped strawberries, granulated sugar, and water. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to dissolve the sugar. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes until the strawberries soften and the syrup thickens slightly.
  2. Strain the Syrup: Remove the saucepan from heat and let the strawberry mixture cool slightly. Pour the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or jar, pressing down to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids or save them for another use.
  3. Chill the Syrup: Allow the strawberry syrup to cool completely in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before using it in the cold foam.
  4. Prepare the Cold Foam: In a small mixing bowl or a glass measuring cup, combine the heavy whipping cream, 2 to 3 tablespoons of the chilled strawberry syrup (adjust to taste), and the vanilla extract.
  5. Whip the Foam: Using a handheld frother, electric mixer, or a whisk, whip the mixture vigorously until soft peaks form and the cream has a light, airy texture suitable for topping your drinks.
  6. Serve: Spoon the strawberry cold foam over your favorite iced coffee, matcha latte, or any cold beverage. Enjoy immediately for best texture and flavor.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of strawberry syrup in the foam to suit your desired sweetness and flavor intensity.
  • For a thicker foam, use cold heavy whipping cream and chill your bowl before whipping.
  • Store leftover strawberry syrup in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
  • You can use fresh or frozen strawberries to make the syrup; just thaw frozen fully before starting.
  • Ensure the cold foam is prepared just before serving for the best consistency.
