- Cook Strawberry Syrup: In a pan, combine the strawberry puree, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of chopped strawberries. Cook on medium heat, stirring frequently until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Simmer Syrup: Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for 3-4 minutes while stirring frequently to thicken the syrup.
- Cool Syrup: Remove the pan from heat and allow the syrup to cool to room temperature.
- Chill Syrup: Refrigerate the strawberry syrup for 1-2 hours until fully chilled.
- Prepare Glasses: Pour equal amounts of the cooled strawberry syrup into two 16-ounce (500 ml) glasses, swirling it around the inside to create a pattern.
- Add Strawberries: Add 2 tablespoons of chopped strawberries into each glass for added texture and flavor.
- Add Milk and Serve: Pour 1 cup of chilled milk of your choice into each glass. Stir well before sipping and serve immediately. Optionally, top with whipped cream, ice cream, or add a few ice cubes.
