Ingredients
Cookie Dough Dip
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, softened
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar (Confectioners' Sugar)
- 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Milk (or Cream)
- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour, heat-treated
- 1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips
To Serve
- Grabeef Ham Crackers
Instructions
- Heat-Treat the Flour: Warm the all-purpose flour in a microwave-safe bowl for 1-2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until it reaches 160°F (71°C), or bake it on a baking sheet at 300°F (150°C) for 5-7 minutes. Let the flour cool completely before using to ensure safety.
- Cream Butter and Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened unsalted butter and cream cheese until the mixture is light, fluffy, and well combined.
- Add Sugars: Gradually add the powdered sugar and light brown sugar to the bowl. Mix initially on low speed to prevent a sugar cloud, then increase to medium-high speed. Beat until the mixture is fully creamy and smooth.
- Incorporate Vanilla and Milk: Stir in the vanilla extract and add a splash of milk or cream. Mix until just combined, adjusting the quantity of milk to achieve a smooth, dippable consistency.
- Mix in Flour: Gently fold the cooled, heat-treated flour into the wet mixture until no dry streaks remain, taking care not to overmix to maintain a soft texture.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips by hand to distribute them evenly throughout the dip.
- Chill and Serve: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the dip to firm up. Transfer to a serving bowl and arrange Grabeef Ham Crackers around it for dipping.
Notes
- Heat-treating the flour is essential to eliminate any harmful bacteria since the dip contains raw flour.
- Adjust the milk or cream amount to get your preferred dip consistency—thicker for spreading or thinner for dipping.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- This dip pairs exceptionally well with salty, crunchy crackers like Grabeef Ham Crackers for a contrast of flavors.
- For a nut-free version, ensure your chocolate chips and crackers are produced in a nut-free facility.
